Our passion is off-shore sportfishing and Sterling II is the platform with a recently added marlin tower, outriggers and factory installed bait station. This customized Tiara 3100 also has amenities including a live well, large fish box, generator, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, plus a fixed mount video system and the latest in Raymarine electronics. Powered by twin diesel Cummins 330's our cruising speed is 25kts, with a top end of 31 kts (just over 35 mph) to get us to the canyons and back in good time.

To keep it safe we're stocked with off-shore lifejackets, dual radios with DSC, an EPIRB and a 4 person life-raft, in addition to the standard coast guard required equipment.

We're planning on fishing the local tournament scene as much as possible in 2010. Check out the calendar and let's put together a crew for some tournaments or just a day of fun fishing.

What's New

We've added Raymarine's new digital dome for more effictive radar and 2010 software upgrades that improve both radar and sonar performance. We've also signed up with Roff's this year for their satellite fishing analysis.

New rodholders are in bringing us up to about 20 and we've added a monster dredge as well as big squid teasers to the arsenal. We're armed and ready for offshore adventures chasing tuna, marlin, wahoo, swordfish, shark, dorado and of course we'll be doing the in-shore striper and drum runs as well...if it swims we've got something for it.
